A fully qualified team of 42 staff provide care for children every day and they are responsible for tracking the children’s development throughout nursery. Each of our rooms has a dedicated ‘Room-Leader’ responsible for their enthusiastic and energetic team. We also boast a fantastic chef, an office manager, Helen and Stevie, our 'fix it man' responsible for looking after the building and gardens. All our staff work hard to ensure the children are safe and secure and look forward to their time at nursery.
We think our fees and bookings process are the most flexible you will find...
We have recently embarked upon the 'Healthy Smiles' initiative, and as a result we have significantly reduced the amount of sugary and salty food that we offer at snack times, we have re written our lunch menu to make it as fresh as can be with our wonderful chef, Eva preparing all vegetables and making all sauces from scratch. As a team, we all support the children's awareness of foods that are good for them as well as teaching good routines like toothbrushing.

All agencies that work with children, young people and families are responsible for listening to your concerns and worries and working closely with you to make sure you and your family get the right support at the right time.
At times children and families need a bit of extra support – and when that happens, it’s ok to ask for help.
Early help is there to make sure worries don’t become bigger and you get the support you need at the right time.

Some families with 3 & 4 year old children are eligible for Early Years Pupil Premium funding. If this applies to you, this extra funding could enhance your child's experience at nursery. This can be done via the setting purchasing additional equipment and resources specifically for your child and could include additional training for our staff on things like early language.

Being able to speak up when you are feeling down, having words to explain your emotions and knowing where to get help when you are not feeling well are fundamental to keeping our minds healthy. We have looked hard at the things in life that make for a healthy, balanced mind and body. Our policies underpin our practice but alongside this we do our best to make sure that every child, parent and staff member feels valued and special.
If you ever have any concerns about your child's wellbeing or mental health, please tell us straight away and we will look at ways that we can support both you and your little person.

The Point is a place where you can find information about the development of children, understand how we keep children safe and it is also somewhere for us and you to share ideas like the 'learning packs' that one of our nursery managers, Sam likes to create for you to share with your child.
There is a pre-loved rail of clothes that you can donate or help yourself to as well as a 'donation station' of food pantry items that you are welcome to take. Things that are not taken are gifted to the local food pantry in Faringdon.

Bringing up children is rarely easy and we know that, as well as the challenges that everyday brings, there can also be some parts of life where we could do with a bit of support, help and advice...
So, we have put together few of our favourite resource pages and links, that help us on our journey to supporting children's growth and development,

We have been using this fantastic speech and language programme for four years now and have found that it has really helped us identify, target and support children who have delayed language skills.
It is widely accepted that early intervention is the best way to prevent children under-performing later in life so at Annabelle’s we make regular assessments of your child’s communication and language abilities so we can work together to support your child if they are not on track and need a little bit of help!

As a mummy of 3, I know that it is important that children spend their time in an environment where they feel safe and secure. In my settings we achieve this by building strong and warm relationships with children and parents. Our settings are well resourced and staffed by people who genuinely care for the welfare and development of children.
I hope that you and your child enjoy every minute that you are with us.
