What the Big Babies have been up to in the month of June...

Big babies have been super happy playing outside in the sunshine this month, having lots of fun on walks to the “forest,” lots of splashing in our water tray to cool ourselves down and blowing too many bubbles. Even on the hotter days we have made sure we’ve kept ourselves busy by bringing outdoor activities inside including bouncing on our small bouncy castle with all our balls from the ball pit. We have been showing a lot of interest in farm animals this month, playing a lot with our farm house and being able to say all the animal sounds, as well as singing lots of animal songs very loudly. There has also been a lot of dancing going on in which the babies really enjoyed dressing up as fairies with saffron, using the ribbons as head bands and twirling around the room; which tied in nicely with ‘national fairy day.’ As much as the babies love dancing and singing , what they like even more is getting messy, which is why we’ve had a lot of messy play time with the flower , chalking, painting and lots of drawing, showing lots of enthusiasm throughout! We also enjoyed creating our very special cards for Father’s Day and creating flags for the World Cup. Now that the weather is deciding to get hotter and hotter , please can we ask for thinner sleepsuits if your baby goes to sleep in one, and keep applying sun cream in the mornings, thank you! Hope your are all enjoying the sunshine.
